Service Description

storybored.ai provides an AI-powered e-reader that generates illustrations for EPUB books. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze book content and create contextual images.

User Accounts

  • You must create an account to use certain features of the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that you do not have the right to use
  • Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Use the Service to infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or access the Service's source code
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

Content and Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of the books you upload to the Service.
  • You grant us a license to process and store your content to provide the Service.
  • AI-generated illustrations are provided for your personal use in connection with the uploaded book.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process content through our Service.

Credits and Billing

  • Credits are used to generate AI illustrations.
  • Free accounts receive a limited number of credits.
  • Paid subscriptions include monthly or yearly credit allocations.
  • Credits do not roll over between billing periods.
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings.

Disclaimers

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.
  • We are not responsible for content you upload to the Service.
  • Service availability is not guaranteed; we may experience downtime.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, storybored.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless storybored.ai from any claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
